Learn by Doing
Hypnotherapy is difficult to learn purely from books or videos.
Knowing how an induction works theoretically is different from sitting opposite another person and actually guiding the process.
Daseti therefore places emphasis on experiential learning.
During training, participants can experience demonstrations, practise techniques and develop confidence applying what they have learned.
The objective is not simply:
“I understand hypnosis.”
It is to progressively develop the practical ability to use the techniques you have been taught responsibly.
Your Learning Doesn't End After the Classroom
One of the challenges after completing any professional course is:
“What happens when I actually have to use what I’ve learned?”
That is why the Daseti pathway includes six months of Hypnosis Practicum Supervision for eligible participants who complete the required certification training.
The practicum provides an environment to continue practising, reviewing experiences and learning through guided discussion.

International Certification Pathway
Daseti’s programme follows the certification curriculum of the National Guild of Hypnotists (NGH).
Participants who successfully complete the required classroom hours, hands-on practice, independent study and assessment requirements may be eligible for examination leading towards the applicable NGH certification.
Additional practicum and case-work requirements apply to Daseti’s ICBCH Diploma in Hypnotherapy and Life Coaching pathway.
Certification is subject to completion of the relevant requirements and assessments and is not automatic.
Meet Your Trainer
Nathanael Seers Ong
Nathanael is the founder and Principal Hypnotherapist of Daseti.
His listed professional training includes certifications as an instructor with the National Guild of Hypnotists (NGH) and International Certification Board of Coaches and Hypnotists (ICBCH), together with training in areas including NLP and life coaching.
Rather than focusing only on theory, Nathanael’s training approach incorporates demonstrations, practical application and supervised learning.
“Can I Really Learn Hypnosis?”

Will I be able to hypnotise someone?

What Happens After Certification?
There isn’t one single pathway.
Some people undertake hypnotherapy training primarily for personal development.
Others may incorporate suitable skills into an existing professional role.
Some graduates may choose to continue developing their experience and establish a hypnotherapy practice, subject to the applicable professional, ethical, advertising and regulatory requirements.
The programme also includes learning around practice development and building clientele.
A certification demonstrates completion of the relevant training and assessment requirements. It should not be interpreted as registration as a psychologist, doctor or other Singapore-regulated healthcare professional.
